World Bank Lends Another $100M To Tanzania Bus Project

Law360, New York (December 21, 2012, 7:32 PM EST) -- The World Bank Group signed off Friday on a second loan to support a $342 million project that will install a bus rapid transit system in Tanzania's busiest city, the coastal commercial hub known as Dar es Salaam.

The World Bank's International Development Association will chip in a $100 million loan on top of the $190 million line of credit it already opened for the project, according to the World Bank.
