Law360, New York (January 03, 2013, 6:12 PM ET) -- A proposal to maintain New Jersey's jobs by expanding the state's project labor agreements for public works projects cleared a state Senate committee Thursday, clearing the way for a full Senate vote.
The New Jersey Senate Budget and Appropriations Committee approved legislation to expand the state's project labor agreements from public building construction works and projects to other public infrastructure projects as New Jersey suits up to rebuild from the devastation Superstorm Sandy wreaked on the state, Senate Democrats said in a statement.
