Banks, Bondholders Fight Argentina Injunction In 2nd Circ.

Law360, New York (January 8, 2013, 2:31 PM EST) -- In a hotly contested bond exchange, a bank trade group and a group of European holders of bonds issued by the Republic of Argentina on Monday told the Second Circuit that they should not be subject to an injunction against the South American nation making payments to participants in the country's debt restructuring.
