Contracts Reps Hit Bloomberg LP With Overtime Suit

Law360, New York (January 7, 2013, 12:00 AM EST) -- Bloomberg LP was hit with a proposed class action in New York federal court Thursday by contracts representatives who claim they were denied overtime pay in violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act.

Lead plaintiff Tania Montes De Oca alleges that Bloomberg’s contract department of finance administration is perpetually understaffed and overwhelmed with work so contracts representatives work long hours without just compensation, according to the complaint.
