Google Must Drop ITC Essential-Patent Claims, Microsoft Says

Law360, New York (January 8, 2013, 9:19 PM EST) -- Microsoft Corp. told the U.S. International Trade Commission Monday that in the wake of the Federal Trade Commission's settlement restricting Google Inc. from seeking injunctions over standard-essential patents, Google's Motorola Mobility Inc. unit must drop its ITC patent claims against Microsoft's Xbox.
