UK Watchdog Advances Health Care Trust Competition Probe

Law360, New York (January 8, 2013, 7:08 PM EST) -- The U.K.’s Office of Fair Trading said Tuesday it has referred the proposed merger of two National Health Service foundation trusts to the country’s Competition Commission for a comprehensive investigation, finding the tie-up could limit patients' and officials' choice of certain health care providers.
