Statoil Touts $10.2B Norway Arctic Gas Projects

Law360, New York (January 8, 2013, 6:06 PM EST) -- Statoil ASA on Tuesday announced 57 billion kroner ($10.2 billion) plans to develop energy resources in Norway’s Arctic region and build a Norwegian Sea pipeline.

Statoil said it, along with its partners OMV AG and ConocoPhillips Co., has submitted the plan for development and operation of the Aasta Hansteen field to the Norwegian Ministry of Petroleum and Energy.
