Law360, New York (January 10, 2013, 1:26 PM EST) -- On Dec. 13, 2012, in a case of unusual impression, the U.S. Government Accountability Office issued a written decision denying a protester's request that the GAO reconsider a previous protest denial. In its decision, the GAO explained that it simply will no longer hear protests based exclusively on a U.S. Veterans Administration decision to not consider setting aside procurement for service-disabled veteran-owned small business concerns (SDVOSBCs) when procuring goods and services under the Federal Supply Schedule (FSS).
