Dish Network Corp. swooped in late Tuesday with a complicated $4.9 billion offer for Clearwire Corp. that could cause trouble for rival bidder Sprint Nextel Corp. Dish's play also puts Clearwire's board in a tight spot, forced to consider the higher bid but hemmed in by a tightly drawn merger agreement it signed with Sprint last month.
