Pa. Chief Justice To Seek New Term On The Bench

Law360, Philadelphia (January 10, 2013, 6:53 PM EST) -- Despite a looming mandatory retirement, Pennsylvania Supreme Court Chief Justice Ron Castille announced this week he will seek retention for another 10-year term on the bench, according to media reports.

In an interview with the Philadelphia Inquirer on Wednesday, Chief Justice Castille, 68, said he was seeking another term on the bench to address a series of pending landmark cases and unfinished initiatives within the state’s judiciary.
