Motorola Asks ITC To Review Apple Win On Sensor Patent

Law360, New York (January 11, 2013, 9:17 PM EST) -- Google Inc.'s Motorola Mobility Inc. unit on Thursday asked the U.S. International Trade Commission to review a judge's December invalidity ruling on a sensor patent Motorola claimed Apple Inc.'s iPhone infringed.

ITC Administrative Law Judge Thomas B. Pender ruled Dec. 18 that Apple infringed the patent, but concluded it was invalid as anticipated, so Apple had not violated Section 337 of the Tariff Act.
