Jury Hands Louisiana-Pacific Win In Faulty Home-Siding Row

Law360, New York (January 14, 2013, 7:09 PM EST) -- A Washington jury handed building materials maker Louisiana-Pacific Corp. a victory in federal court on Friday, finding that the company was not liable for allegedly defective vinyl siding installed by housing developer Polygon Northwest Co. LLC on more than 600 homes.

After a five-day trial, the jury found in favor of Louisiana-Pacific on all three remaining claims of breach of warranty, intentional misrepresentation and violation of the Consumer Protection Act.
