US Tells High Court To Uphold Monsanto's Seed Patent Win

Law360, New York (January 15, 2013, 4:29 PM EST) -- The federal government has urged the U.S. Supreme Court to affirm a ruling that a farmer infringed patents on Monsanto Co.'s Roundup Ready soybean seeds by planting them, arguing that the patent exhaustion doctrine does not allow him to create new seeds.
