Fed. Circ. Urged To OK Motorola ITC Win In Microsoft Row

Law360, New York (January 16, 2013, 5:52 PM EST) -- The U.S. International Trade Commission and Motorola Mobility LLC told the Federal Circuit on Monday that the ITC was justified in finding that imports of certain Android-based mobile devices had not infringed four Microsoft Corp. patents.

In separate briefs submitted to the Federal Circuit, the ITC and Google Inc.-owned Motorola Mobility urged the appeals court to uphold part of an ITC determination that was finalized in May, and which held that Motorola had not violated Section 337 of the Tariff Act of 1930 by importing devices...
