GoDaddy Hit With Privacy Suit Over 'Revenge Porn' Site

Law360, New York (January 23, 2013, 1:29 PM EST) -- A group of Texas women who say a so-called revenge porn website posted sexually explicit pictures of them without their permission launched a class action Friday against the site and its host, GoDaddy.com, in an effort to shut it down permanently.

The site, Texxxan.com, is dedicated not only to publishing intimate photos of young Texan women but also providing private identifying information about those women in a willful bid to cause “severe embarrassment, humiliation and emotional distress,” the complaint said.
