Agreement On Energy Bill Expected Next Week

Law360, New York (November 27, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- After months of delays and infighting over a new version of the energy bill, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said on Monday that Congress was expected to have a “final agreement” on the policy as soon as next week.

“Congress is now moving forward with historic energy legislation that will reduce our dependence on foreign fuels and promote energy efficiency,” Pelosi said in a statement.
