Belkin Picks Up Linksys Networking Unit From Cisco

Law360, Los Angeles (January 24, 2013, 9:59 PM EST) -- Belkin USA has inked a deal to buy Cisco Systems Inc.'s home-networking business, including its well-known Linksys wireless connectivity platform, the consumer electronics manufacturer said Thursday.

The two companies plan to develop a strategic relationship on retail distribution, strategic marketing and products for the service provider market, they said in a statement. The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
