Sens. Want No Abortion Coverage Under ACA Multistate Plans

Law360, New York (January 25, 2013, 7:53 PM EST) -- A group of 11 Republican senators on Thursday introduced a bill to ban elective abortion coverage by federally administered multistate health plans offered on Affordable Care Act-mandated insurance exchanges, saying taxpayers shouldn’t be forced to subsidize the procedure.
