7th Circ. Won't Rehear $125M Starwood Fraud Suit

Law360, New York (January 28, 2013, 6:27 PM EST) -- The Seventh Circuit on Monday issued a slip opinion denying a bid by a group of condo owners to rehear en banc a $125 million fraud suit against two developers involving time shares in Mexico, adding some harsh words for the plaintiffs' attorney.

The federal appeals court published the slip opinion of a Jan. 22 order in which it unanimously rejected a bid by the condo owners to rehear the court's Dec. 20 affirmation of a lower court's dismissal of the fraud case.
