DePuy Hip Implant's Failure Rate 'Striking,' Jury Told

Law360, Los Angeles (January 28, 2013, 9:32 PM EST) -- DePuy Inc.'s metal ASR XL hip implants failed at five times the rate of other types of hip implants, a medical expert told a California jury Monday during a bellwether trial against the Johnson & Johnson subsidiary, the first of thousands nationwide to go to trial.
