Downtown Miami Tower Sues Construction Co. Over Defects

Law360, Miami (January 31, 2013, 2:41 PM EST) -- The owners of 900 Biscayne, a residential skyscraper in downtown Miami, on Monday sued the construction company that built it for allegedly failing to remedy construction defects that include problems with the rooftop air conditioning units and the waterproofing in the garage.

In a case filed in Florida's Eleventh Judicial Circuit, 900 Biscayne LLC sued Pavarini Construction Co. (SE) Inc. for an unspecified amount of damages for allegedly breaching a 2005 construction contract to build the 63-floor condominium tower.
