'Anonymous' Spokesman Deemed Competent For Trial

Law360, New York (January 31, 2013, 7:40 PM EST) -- A Texas federal judge said Wednesday that Barrett L. Brown, a spokesman for hacker organization Anonymous, is competent to stand trial for allegedly posting threatening tweets targeting a federal agent and attempting to release the agent's personal information publicly.

Brown is facing three indictments over his alleged actions. In the first, filed in October, he is charged with making an Internet threat, conspiring to make restricted personal information of a federal employee publicly available and retaliation against a federal law enforcement officer.
