ITC To Investigate Samsung, Nokia, Others Over 4G Patents

Law360, New York (January 31, 2013, 4:07 PM EST) -- The U.S. International Trade Commission on Thursday took up a case against Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd, Nokia Corp. and others alleging the companies have imported 3G and 4G wireless devices that infringe a patent held by InterDigital Inc.

The ITC voted to institute a Section 337 investigation into 3G- and 4G-capable smartphones, tablets, mobile hotspots, PC cards, laptops and other mobile devices.
