Objections Pile Up To Calpine's Fourth Plan

Law360, New York (November 30, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- More than a dozen objections to Calpine Corp.'s fourth amended reorganization plan poured in on Thursday and Friday from banks, government agencies, business partners and others in time for the Friday objection deadline.

The objectors, including parties to contracts with Calpine, government bodies and banks, say that the plan, approved by the court in September, is unfair and should be modified further.
