Protections For Private-Sector Whistleblowers Pass Pa. House

Law360, Philadelphia (February 6, 2013, 4:16 PM EST) -- A bill that would significantly expand Pennsylvania’s Whistleblower Law to include employees with private, for-profit companies working under public contract unanimously passed the state’s House of Representatives on Tuesday and now moves to the State Senate for consideration.

The bill would extend protections from retaliation to workers with nonprofit and private-sector companies who report waste of public money by their employers.
