Par Pharma Sued Over Plans For Generic Constipation Drug

Law360, New York (February 8, 2013, 3:11 PM EST) -- Par Pharmaceuticals Cos. Inc. was sued Thursday in Delaware federal court by two pharmaceutical companies over plans to make a generic form of the constipation medication Amitiza, which Sucampo Pharmaceuticals Inc. says will infringe six patents for the drug.
