Straight Male-On-Male Groping Still Harassment, 2nd Circ. Told

Law360, New York (February 8, 2013, 5:27 PM EST) -- Unwanted workplace male-on-male groping and suggestive comments should be treated as sexual harassment even if both men are straight, a plaintiff's attorney told the Second Circuit Friday, urging the court to take a wide view on Title VII.

Courts would not even question that a male boss groping a female worker's genitals would trigger a sexual harassment claim under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, and male victims should get the same protection, attorney Christina A. Agola told a panel of judges at oral arguments...
