Former NJ County Prosecutor Drops Bid To Keep Job

Law360, New York (February 11, 2013, 3:25 PM EST) -- The onetime prosecutor for Morris County, N.J., has said he will drop his suit seeking to overturn Gov. Chris Christie's decision to remove him from office in favor of a labor attorney who never won approval in the state Senate.

Last week, former Morris County Prosecutor Robert A. Bianchi, whose term had previously expired, sent the governor a one-page resignation letter with an effective date of Feb. 8. In a separate statement, Bianchi announced he would withdraw his lawsuit against the governor.
