DePuy Hip Implant 'Poisoned' Dad, Daughter Testifies

Law360, Los Angeles (February 11, 2013, 7:55 PM EST) -- In emotionally charged testimony Monday, the daughter of a retired prison guard suing Johnson & Johnson subsidiary DePuy Inc. over its ASL XR metal-on-metal hip implant told a California jury that she believed the implant had poisoned him.

Jennifer Flynn, a nurse and daughter of plaintiff Loren Kransky, testified that she was alarmed by her father's physical decline after he got an ASR XL hip implant in December 2007.
