3rd Circ. Blocks Convicted Ex-NJ Mayor's Retrial Request

Law360, New York (February 12, 2013, 5:06 PM EST) -- The Third Circuit on Tuesday tossed former Newark, N.J., Mayor Sharpe James' bid for a new trial following his 2008 conviction for criminally steering public projects and property, saying James wasn't prejudiced by a juror who incorrectly answered two questions in a pretrial questionnaire.
