Microsoft Takes Motorola, Android Patent Row To Fed. Circ.

Law360, New York (February 13, 2013, 6:52 PM EST) -- Microsoft Corp. told the Federal Circuit on Monday that the U.S. International Trade Commission got it wrong when it cleared Motorola Mobility LLC of allegedly infringing four patents through imports of certain Android-based mobile devices.

Microsoft argued in a brief that, contrary to the findings of an ITC administrative law judge, it had properly established that the Google Inc.-owned Motorola infringed four of its patents and had met the domestic industry requirements to show a violation of Section 337 of the Tariff Act of 1930....
