Law360, New York (February 14, 2013, 9:11 PM ET) -- The New Jersey General Assembly on Thursday passed a bill that would allow more public works projects to use project labor agreements, a move the bill’s sponsors say will bring new construction jobs to the state.
The Assembly voted 47-26-3 to approve S2425, which would allow projects like highways, bridges, pumping stations and water and sewage plants in to use project labor agreements during the bidding process by expanding the state's definition of a "public works project."
