9th Circ. Reinstates AT&T's Claims In LCD Price-Fixing Case

Law360, Los Angeles (February 14, 2013, 10:42 PM EST) -- The Ninth Circuit on Thursday revived AT&T Inc.'s claims in multidistrict litigation accusing Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. and others of fixing the price of liquid crystal display screens, finding that applying California antitrust law didn't violate the defendants' constitutional rights.

The appeals panel reversed and remanded a lower court's dismissal of AT&T's state law claims in a suit alleging a global conspiracy to fix prices of LCD panels used in mobile phones and other devices, rejecting the lower court's ruling that AT&T and its affiliates had failed...
