Post-Sandy Power Pole Shortage Prompts NY Utility Study

Law360, New York (February 15, 2013, 4:24 PM ET) -- Of all the hassles that stuck in Gov. Andrew Cuomo's craw after Superstorm Sandy smacked New York, a dearth of utility poles that delayed repairs may have topped the list, and in response state regulators ordered utilities Friday to examine whether stockpiling such assets would make sense.
