Philly Commission OKs Development Plan For Neighborhoods

Law360, Newark (February 19, 2013, 5:16 PM EST) -- The Philadelphia City Planning Commission on Tuesday unanimously voted to approve a strategic plan aimed at guiding the future development of the Callowhill and Chinatown North neighborhoods, located directly north of the city’s downtown.

The plan, part of a greater series of goals for the Philadelphia2035 comprehensive framework for the city’s development, includes significant zoning changes such as the elimination of all medium intensity industrial zoning across the area, which is home to more than 7,000 residents.
