SEC Eyes Push For Mandatory Market Technology Rules

Law360, Washington (February 19, 2013, 6:16 PM EST) -- U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission Chairman Elisse B. Walter said Tuesday that she has asked the commission to "accelerate" in creating new rules that will require exchanges and clearinghouses to test technology stability and security in an effort to avoid future crashes.
