Divestiture Sinks Antitrust Suit, Dun & Bradstreet Says

Law360, New York (February 20, 2013, 9:00 PM EST) -- Dun & Bradstreet Corp. urged a Washington federal judge Monday to throw out a proposed class action, saying the suit's antitrust and consumer protection claims hinge on a construction business's purchase of a credit monitoring product that D&B no longer sells.

D&B Corp. and subsidiary Dun & Bradstreet Inc. filed a motion to dismiss federal antitrust, Washington state consumer protection and other claims brought against them by named plaintiff O&R Construction LLC on behalf of a putative class.
