3rd Circ. Reinstates Former Teleflex Exec's Age Bias Case

Law360, New York (February 20, 2013, 7:55 PM ET) -- The Third Circuit on Wednesday revived a former Teleflex Inc. executive's claims alleging she was terminated because of conflict arising from her age, while the medical device company had argued that she resigned.

A three-judge panel partly vacated a lower court's summary judgment in favor of Teleflex, finding that there was a genuine factual dispute about the circumstances of Mary Burton's departure from the company.
