FCC Report On Competition Draws Some Fire

Law360, New York (December 7, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- The Federal Communications Commission's report on the steps it has taken to do away with barriers that small businesses face when entering the telecommunications market shows just how the agency has failed to fulfill this mandate, two commissioners have charged.

FCC Commissioners Michael Copps and Jonathan Adelstein both dissented in part to the report the agency handed over to Congress on Thursday describing how it has worked to support small businesses in the last three years and suggesting additional measures that lawmakers could introduce.
