Doc Says Blue Cross Punished Him For Patient Advocacy

Law360, Los Angeles (February 26, 2013, 8:32 PM EST) -- Anthem Blue Cross barred a Los Angeles urgent care physician from its provider network because he was a “fighter” who put patient care before profits, the doctor's attorney told a jury Tuesday in his suit alleging the insurer wrongfully denied his application to join the network.
