Sen. Urges NW Exemption From FERC Transmission Rule

Law360, New York (March 6, 2013, 4:19 PM EST) -- A top U.S. Senate Democrat on Tuesday urged the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission not to force public utilities in the Northwest to comply with a rule on transmission planning and cost allocation for public electricity transmission providers, because they're generally not subject to FERC jurisdiction.
