Boards Of Italian Roadway, Airport Operators OK Share Merger

Law360, New York (March 11, 2013, 4:34 PM EDT) -- The boards of Italian roadway operator Atlantia SpA and infrastructure firm Gemina SpA have greenlighted a share exchange merger of the companies that will create a global powerhouse in the roadway and airport management sector, according to a Friday statement.

Per the stock exchange deal, Atlantia will take in Gemina — which manages Italy's largest airport, Aeroporti de Roma SPA — through an exchange of one new Atlantia share for nine of Gemina's ordinary or savings shares, according to a statement.
