Fla. Man Admits To Plot To Kill Brooklyn Judge

Law360, New York (March 14, 2013, 1:50 PM EDT) -- A Florida man said Wednesday that he conspired with a jailed Long Island fraudster in a plot to kill a Brooklyn federal judge, in a guilty plea that came two days after lawyers for his alleged accomplice said their client might not be mentally fit to stand trial.

Dejvid Mirkovic, 38, of Lake Worth, Fla., pled guilty before Brooklyn federal Judge John Keenan and faces a maximum penalty of life in prison and a $250,000 fine at his June 19 sentencing.
