Erie Indemnity Says $300M Fee Suit Belongs In Federal Court

Law360, Philadelphia (March 18, 2013, 4:49 PM EDT) -- A complaint alleging that Erie Indemnity Co. bilked members of an unincorporated insurance exchange out of $300 million should not be heard in state court because it seeks relief on behalf of a class of plaintiffs, an attorney for the company told the Third Circuit Monday.
