Dish Says Fox 'Slept' On TV Streaming Tech

Law360, New York (March 18, 2013, 7:40 PM EDT) -- Fox Broadcasting Co. cannot accuse Dish Network LLC’s Hopper device of copyright infringement because Fox knew for years about streaming technology that allows Dish subscribers to view television programs on computers and mobile devices but “slept” and failed to challenge it in their licensing agreement, Dish argued Friday.
