Know Your Swap Reporting Rules Before April 10

Law360, New York (March 22, 2013, 1:26 PM EDT) -- On April 10, 2013, commercial end-users must begin reporting and maintaining records on all swaps to which they are counterparties. Swap data record keeping and reporting will be the first major substantive requirements end-users will be required to comply with under the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission’s implementing regulations.
