Senate Bill Would Share Offshore Energy Revenue With States

Law360, New York (March 20, 2013, 6:42 PM EDT) -- Two Republican senators introduced legislation Wednesday that would give coastal states a sizable cut of revenues generated by offshore energy production in federal waters, saying they're entitled to revenue-sharing enjoyed by noncoastal states with onshore energy production on federal lands.
