FDA Warnings Over Eye Infections Spark Partial Avastin Recall

Law360, Washington (March 20, 2013, 5:57 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Food and Drug Administration's warnings to doctors and health care providers that several repackaged lots of the blockbuster cancer drug Avastin have been linked to eye infection in patients recently has triggered a voluntary recall by the Georgia compounding pharmacy that created them.
