2nd Circ. Flips Scottsdale Win In Faulty Pool Defense Suit

Law360, New York (March 21, 2013, 3:19 PM EDT) -- The Second Circuit on Thursday overturned a summary judgment ruling allowing Scottsdale Insurance Inc. to avoid defending R.I. Pools Inc. in underlying lawsuits over cracked concrete walls and floors in the company's swimming pools, finding that the policy's subcontractor exception could leave Scottsdale on the hook.
