Nationwide Investigators Exempt From OT, 6th Circ. Says

Law360, New York (March 21, 2013, 4:30 PM EDT) -- Nationwide Mutual Insurance Co. defeated a collective action Thursday in the Sixth Circuit, which found the insurer correctly classified its special investigators as exempt from overtime as administrators because their primary tasks required discretion and independent judgment.
